Be Creative with Nicole

In this friendly and relaxed class, our tutor Nicole Kemp encourages beginners to the more advanced to explore a wide variety of ideas, techniques, and mediums. acrylic, watercolour pastel, pencil, charcoal printmaking, and more. Enjoy the pleasure and encouragement of these friendly groups to find your personal artistic style. Excursions take place at least once a term for galleries and/ or for outdoor sketching.

Materials will be supplied by attendees. Nicole will advise on this in class. Nothing expensive is ever required. We also use what you may already have.

Museum Victoria has acquired Nicole Kemp’s (our brilliant art teacher at Highett NCH) COVID-19 hand-embroidered quilt as part of their “Stories of COVID-19 in Melbourne’s Suburbs” display. The display shows stories of COVID-19 in Melbourne’s Suburbs as a digital display that brings together a snapshot of stories collected across the suburbs of Melbourne in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
