Background refreshing info for students will include info on paper selection, tearing down print papers correctly, print storage, and setting the press pressure correctly

It is anticipated that students will come out with full confidence in making zinc plates and can go on to make etched plate prints at community open access print workshops (like fire station studio in Malvern)  or work in many cases again from the many unused presses scattered around studios in Melbourne or in school art departments. The course will have around 20 pages of detailed notes to provide details of what we will be doing and be a valuable memory jogger to repeat techniques again when printing at home.
