Creative Stitch & Collage

Explore traditional embroidery stitches in a fun and playful way. Combine this with fabric collaging and appliqué techniques. For beginners to those that wish to extend themselves. Each week be introduced to a different way of thinking about stitch, to create an embroidery piece that can be extended beyond the class end.

You will need:

  • Flat colour Cotton type fabric.
  • Something stable in nature, not silky type fabric.
  • Old sheeting, calico, poly-cotton, old towels.
  • Any other fabric scraps you have, reuse recycle old clothes, embroidery threads you may have, eg stranded cotton, DMC, anchor, etc, and or pearl threads, wool threads, ribbons, etc…
  • Basic sewing kit including needles, scissors, pins, etc, ensure your needles are sharp and the embroidery thread will fit.
  • Glue stick.
  • HB & 2B pencil.
  • Open-minded attitude and a willingness to explore.

How do I enrol?

To enrol in any of our classes, please click on the “Add to Cart” button and make a payment selection online via Credit Card or PayPal. Completion of the Enrolment Application form is required before class commencement and a further $10 yearly membership fees. Your place in the class will be confirmed on payment of the appropriate course fees.

Refund Policy

Please choose your classes carefully; we cannot be responsible for your change of circumstances and we do not refund. We regret that classes with low enrolments may be cancelled or deferred. You will be advised of this by telephone either prior to commencement of the class or within 3 weeks of the term commencing. A refund will be issued if the course is cancelled due to a lack of numbers. The yearly Enrolment fee is not refundable. I acknowledge the Refunds terms & conditions
