In October Hampton Community Centre is hosting celebrations dedicated to embracing and honouring the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and African communities. This engaging series of events will include cultural workshops covering art and music providing participants with a deep understanding of these traditions. Moreover, our sensory experiences will immerse attendees in the sights, sounds, smells, flavours, and textures of these vibrant cultures, while specially curated lunches will offer a delightful journey into unique cuisines.

FREE AFRICAN DRUMMING WORKSHOP
Join us for an exciting and welcoming FREE drumming experience led by the incredibly skilled percussionist and instructor, Peter Vadiveloo. Peter's expertise and enthusiasm will have you creating captivating rhythms in no time, regardless of your prior drumming experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced drummer, everyone is invited to participate, and we'll supply all the drums you need.
