Carla Lauch is a Gunditjmara - Kirrae Whurrong/Bundalung woman born and raised on Bunurong-Boonwurrrung Country. Join Carla for this women's weaving workshop to weave a basket using both traditional types of grass and modern materials.

Carla teaches traditional techniques as taught by her Great Aunt & Elders from her maternal bloodline, the Gunditjmara – Kirrae Whurrong tribe from the Western districts of Victoria.

  • MEMBERSHIP FEE

    A $10 a year membership fee is payable per calendar year when joining a class or workshop at our centres. The membership covers you for use at both Highett and Hampton Community Centres.

  • FURTHER INFORMATION

    Class fees for the following must be paid before the end of the current term to hold your spot within the class. If you are planning on "missing a term" class fees must be paid to secure your place in the class for the following term.
