Join us at one of our Pride workshops, aimed at promoting inclusivity, creativity, and community engagement under the key message: “Embrace. Educate. Celebrate.”
Workshop 1: Young artists aged 16 - 19 are invited to collaborate on a community art project to express and celebrate LGBTQIA+ identity with messages of love, kindness and compassion. We will be painting a mural for the community to enjoy and take pride in. Spaces are limited - Book now.

Workshop 2:
Are you a member of the rainbow community? Do you enjoy expressing yourself through art? Come and join us for a canvas tote bag painting workshop where we will explore themes of rainbow identity, expression and pride. Through our art, we can help spread the message that we should all be "free to be" who we are...
This 2 hour workshop includes:
- Creating your own personal bag design to express your pride identity
- Painting your pride bag
- Connecting with other members of the rainbow community
- The opportunity to proudly display your bag as part of the Hampton Community Centre art exhibition in March 2025
- The opportunity for your bag design to be digitised and displayed for the local community to see
Finished bags will be showcased at our Creative Exhibition on March 3, 2025. Selected tote bag paintings will be digitised and displayed on metal boards forming a larger mural on the HCC fence which will form part of our “Did You Know” campaign.

REFUNDS
There are no refunds for any class bookings. Class fees for the following must be paid before the end of the current term to hold your spot within the class. If you are planning on "missing a term" class fees must be paid to secure your place in the class for the following term.

MEMBERSHIP FEE
A $10 a year membership fee is payable per calendar year when joining a class or workshop at our centres. The membership covers you for insurance at both Highett and Hampton Community Centres. This is non-refunable.
