Bayside Creatives Month: Art For Wellbeing

Bayside Creatives Month: Art For Wellbeing

Hampton Community Centre

Art for Wellbeing: A Mindful Creative Workshop

In this 90-minute workshop, we will explore mindful art-making practices that encourage you to slow down, connect with the materials, and follow your creativity wherever it leads. Through guided prompts and experimentation, we will discover the joy of process over product—inviting flow, curiosity, and a deeper sense of wellbeing. No experience needed, just bring yourself and a willingness to explore.

Artist bio:
Amy Claire (she/they) is a queer artist and advocate who blends creativity with their background in psychology and community development to champion mental health, inclusion, and justice. Their curiosity for exploring the unique qualities of art materials guides their evolving multi-medium art practice. Inspired by nature, connection, and wholehearted expression, Amy's work ranges from portraits, landscapes and abstract art to public murals.  Amy loves using the power of art to heal, unite, and help cultivate a kinder, more compassionate world.
