Join Jaz for a fun and engaging series of crochet classes designed to take your skills to the next level. Whether you're looking to create cozy accessories, thoughtful handmade gifts or decorative pieces, these classes will help you craft unique items with confidence and creativity.

These classes are ideal for those who have attended our Beginner classes previously or have some experience with crochet. A basic understanding of crochet stitches will help you get the most out of these sessions.

This is a small class with only 10 participants.

Materials list:
- Crochet hooks size 4 or 4.5 (Kmart sell a 9 pack for $7.50)
- 8 ply yarn, 3 different colours, cotton, wool or acrylic. Please ensure it’s basic yarn, not fluffy, textured etc (this is too difficult to handle)
- Any other crochet equipment and yarn you have
- Your enthusiasm

  • TERM DATES 2025

    Term 1: 28 Jan – 4 April 2025
    Term 2: 22 April – 4 July 2025
    Term 3: 21 July – 19 Sept 2025
    Term 4: 6 Oct - 14 Dec 2025

  • REFUNDS & CREDITS

    • There are no refunds for any class bookings. Once booked, the class fees are non-refundable.
    • If a credit is issued to customers, it is valid for use within the same calendar year in which it was applied.
    • If a credit is issued to customers, it can be applied towards any eligible workshop offered during the same calendar year.
    • The credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of payment.
    • It is the Management discretion if a credit is offered to customers.

  • MEMBERSHIP & CLASS FEES

    • A $20 membership fee per calendar year is required when joining a class or workshop at our centres.
    • The membership fee covers usage at both Highett and Hampton Community Centres.
    • The membership fee is non-refundable.
    • Class fees for the following term must be paid before the end of the current term to secure your spot in the class.
    • If you plan on "missing a term," class fees must still be paid to ensure your place in the class for the subsequent term.
    • The membership fee is separate from the class fees and is payable annually per calendar year.
