The Hall School of Irish Dance

The Hall School of Irish Dance has been providing Irish dancing classes to students of all ages and abilities in South East Melbourne for almost 40 years. The classes provide a fun and supportive atmosphere where dancers can learn this Irish tradition for fitness, meeting new friends or just for the fun of dancing!

Our Highett Beginner classes offer an introduction to Irish dance for school aged children, 5 years and up, who are just beginning Irish dancing. Beginner dancers will start learning the basic steps and progress to learning soft shoe dances such as reels and jigs. As their skills and confidence continue to develop, beginner dancers will then start to learn hard shoe dances.
